This time it’s from their new G230 Stereo Gaming Headset. Even without Immersion’s tech Logitech has proven they can still personify the company’s name and effectively suspend your disbelief with rock solid performance. But Immersion as a company went on to be one of the leading providers of haptic feedback tech for touch screens on consumer, service level and corporate devices. Vibrating mice may not be the cat’s meow today. It used TouchSense technology from Immersion to provide complex vibration feedback, which was nestled in the Logitech line of iFeel mice. Recently a colleague and I reminisced over the old Logitech iFeel mice line from 10+ years back. Engineers from each landscape tinker and toil to create the most believable or “immersive” scenes, products and experiences. At 20 dB boost, my voice volume is perfect but the background noise got louder as well.“Immersion” is like the holy grail end goal for tech software and film creation. Anything lower than that, my voice sounds like it's from a laptop microphone.Īt 10 dB boost, there's very little background noise but I'm still too quiet for my liking. Hmm, that didn't help at all although it helped me learn some things.įor example, there's background noise only at 96000 Hz and up. I've decided to keep noise suppression off because it messes around with my voice and I feel the background noise isn't as bad as having my voice distorted. Now just keep in mind the G230 microphone is pretty terrible so don't expect excellent sound quality.
